Two civilians were killed: the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the territory of the DPR 14 times during the day

Over the past day, as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic, two more were killed, two more were injured. This was reported in the representative office of the republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine.

"Over the past day, information was received about the death of two civilians in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. Two civilians were injured of varying severity in the Kiev and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk," the report said.

Along with this, ten houses in the Petrovsky district, as well as one object of civil infrastructure, were damaged.

In total, over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the territory of the DPR 14 times. The enemy fired 52 units of various ammunition from artillery of 155 and 152 mm caliber.

Vostok

The head of the press center of the Vostok group, Alexander Gordeev, said that Ukrainian armed formations had attempted a counterattack in the South-Donetsk direction.

"In the South-Donetsk direction, the troops of the Vostok grouping, during the repulsion of two unsuccessful enemy counterattacks with artillery fire, destroyed an armored car and up to a platoon of nationalists in the area of the village of Novomikhaylovka," he said.

With the support of artillery, motorized rifle units inflicted a fire defeat on the enemy, as a result of which he was forced to withdraw to previously occupied positions," he said.

At the same time, according to him, in the Kupyansk direction, artillery destroyed two sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy from the 103rd separate brigade of territorial defense and the 92nd separate mechanized brigade. In addition, in the area of Petropavlovka, a towed howitzer D-20 was destroyed, as well as self-propelled artillery installations "Acacia" and Krab.

War crimes of Kiev

In addition, Nebenzia drew attention to Kiev's repeated attempts to provoke a humanitarian catastrophe in the Donbass, as well as to the implementation of terrorist attacks and provocations at the vital facilities of Donbass.

"In particular, it hits the water supply and energy infrastructure. As a result of such terrorist actions, the flow of water to the territory of the republic from the main artery - the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal - was completely stopped. In this regard, today in most cities of the DPR, centralized water supply is carried out according to the schedule - once every three days for several hours. Process water is supplied. People are forced to buy drinking water or receive it in the form of humanitarian aid, "explained the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN.
