"The PS, which was founded by Alexander Vulin, calls on the political and professional community of our country to support the initiative to follow the example of the United States and stop supporting the ICC and the Rome Statute of the ICC," the movement said in a statement.

It is noted that the competence of the ICC is doubted, including because of double standards.

The party also called for the adoption of a law on the registration of foreign agents.

Earlier, the pre-trial chamber of the ICC, whose jurisdiction Russia does not recognize, issued warrants for the "arrest" of Russian President Vladimir Putin and children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova.

US President Joe Biden called the decision of the International Criminal Court "justified".

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that no decisions of the ICC matter to Russia, including from a legal point of view.

Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia said that Russia considers any documents of the ICC null and void and illegal.
