Held on as the other choked Tove

On Friday, charges were filed against the two young women, aged 20 and 18 respectively, who are suspected of murder and aggravated grave violence.

According to the indictment, the 20-year-old woman allegedly took a stranglehold around Tove's neck as she lay on the floor. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old has restrained Tove's arms, which she denies.

Denied for a long time

The women long denied the suspicions but when the older woman changed defense attorney, just before Christmas, some admissions came. Among other things, she admitted that Tove had died in her apartment, but that it was beatings, not murder. She also admitted that she had moved Tove's body and put it in the woods.

The younger woman also admitted to grave violence offences, but said she had been intoxicated and had been asleep when Tove died. According to her lawyer, she allegedly felt compelled to participate in the move of her body.

The trial will begin on March 27 in Eksjö District Court and will last four days.
