Two of the four people run over this Friday when they were sitting on the terrace of a restaurant in Vilaboa (Pontevedra) have died, sources from the Civil Guard have reported.

This group of friends was playing the game at the O'Chancho bar when a Mercedes vehicle rushed over the terrace where their table was and took them away.

The driver of the tourism involved, indicates the 112, lost control of the vehicle when trying to park it and crashed into the cafeteria of Santa Cristina de Cobres located at kilometer point zero of the N-554.

The alleged cause of the incident registered at 16:54 p.m. has tested negative in the breathalyzer test, the Armed Institute has indicated, and everything indicates that when maneuvering he suffered an unfortunate confusion with the pedals.

Five ambulances of the 061 were immediately moved to the scene of the events, which attended at the point to one of the injured, of a minor nature, and transferred the other three, two men of 67 years and one of 79, to the hospital of Montecelo, in Pontevedra, and to the Álvaro Cunqueiro, in Vigo.

Later, already in the hospital, two of them died.
