The National Police has arrested two German citizens and one Italian for their possible involvement in the rape that a Spanish woman, 21, has reported having suffered in a hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

This has been confirmed this Friday to EFE sources of the Superior Police Headquarters of the Canary Islands after local media have published that the victim was drugged by the three detainees, aged 25, 28 and 46, who then allegedly raped her in the hotel where they were arrested.

Employees of that establishment were aware of these facts, to whom the young woman resorted by presenting herself at a half-naked reception to ask for help.

While she claims she was raped, the three detainees, apparently workers who remain in the city temporarily, maintain that the sexual relations were consensual.
