"It's clear that the children don't feel well when decisions are presented in this way. We are harshly critical of this," says Liselotte Fager (KD).

Lars Vikinge (C) tells Corren, who was the first to tell us that they have now chosen to enlist the help of lawyers from SKR (Sweden's municipalities and regions) to look at the decision.

Liselotte Fager (KD) would have preferred to see a phase-out and let the students who go to school stay and possibly not let a new grade start. She questions the decision to close so many schools in such a short period of time.

"The children's safety is quickly snatched under the carpet. This also concerns children with special needs and there I have not heard or seen any action plan on how to handle it," she says.

Yesterday, SVT Nyheter Öst reported on the criticism expressed by the opposition parties regarding ruling politicians' proposal to close down several schools and preschools in Linköping. The proposal is based on reduced student populations:
