On March 20, 2003, U.S. President George W. Bush launched the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom to bring down Saddam Hussein's regime. An invasion deemed illegal by the United Nations, and which, as we now know, was based on a state lie: the so-called possession of weapons of mass destruction by Saddam Hussein. These weapons have never been found since. This war, which was supposed to last only a few months, will finally last until 2011, causing the death of hundreds of thousands of people.
