About this, according to RIA Novosti, the diplomat said during a meeting of the Security Council of the world organization.

Earlier, the pre-trial chamber of the ICC, whose jurisdiction Russia does not recognize, issued an "arrest warrant" for Russian President Vladimir Putin and children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova.

"The ICC is a puppet in the hands of the collective West, which is always ready to carry out pseudo-justice on order," Nebenzia stressed.

The diplomat recalled that the "insignificant" decision was made public on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the American invasion of Iraq. Nebenzia noted that the ICC had jurisdiction there, but did nothing to bring the perpetrators to justice.

"We consider any documents emanating from this body as illegal and null and void," he concluded.

Earlier, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that no decisions of the ICC for Russia matter, including from a legal point of view.
