It was on Tuesday that an incident between a US MQ-9 drone and Russian Su-27 fighter jet led to the drone's crash landing in the Black Sea. The countries have accused each other of acting negligently.

According to the U.S., the Russian fighter jet allegedly maneuvered to intentionally damage the drone, by dumping fuel over it and flying into its propeller.

However, Russia claims it has not been in contact with the drone at all, and instead accuses the US of flying it too close to Russian territory.
