"Members of the Commission for Emergency Situations have banned the use of corporate symbols of legal entities during meetings, public demonstrations, rallies or other public events. The exception will be non-working holidays," the statement said.

On March 12, a rally of the "Movement for the People" was held in the center of Chisinau by adopting a resolution demanding that the authorities pay bills for heating and electricity for three winter months.

Before that, at a rally in the capital of the republic, there were clashes between the police and protesters. On the eve of the event, Moldovan President Maia Sandu expressed fears that riots were possible during the protest.
