Lavrov said this in the program "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" on the TV channel "Russia 1".

Lavrov recalled that after the start of the CVO, the Russian military announced that some areas of the Black Sea would now have a limited status for the use of any aircraft.

However, he stressed, Washington ignored this.

"Such a defiant disregard for this objective fact, of course, suggests that the American side is constantly trying to look for some provocations to escalate its confrontational approaches," the minister concluded.

On March 14, the European Command of the US Armed Forces announced that the Russian Su-27 hit the propeller of the American MQ-9 drone over the Black Sea, after which the drone fell into international waters.

At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian fighters did not use on-board weapons and did not come into contact with a US drone over the Black Sea.
