According to Bogomaz, together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces, General of the Army Oleg Salyukov, they visited the border areas.
The governor said that Salyukov examined the protective structures erected in the region and the conditions created for the military.
“The issues of additional strengthening of the territory of the Bryansk region with firearms and units of the military forces of the army were discussed with the commander-in-chief,” Bogomaz said.
He added that all measures to strengthen the grouping of ground forces in the Bryansk region will be carried out as soon as possible.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces, in response to the terrorist actions organized by Kiev on March 2 in the Bryansk region, delivered a massive retaliatory strike.
