US government urges Xi Jinping to contact Zelensky

According to him, Washington believes that the Chinese leader needs to hear Kyiv's opinion on the crisis.

He noted that the United States urged the Chinese side to take this step both publicly and privately.

Earlier, Sullivan said that the United States considers it important to maintain channels of interaction with the PRC along the military line to ensure stability.
