Russia urged the UN Security Council to urgently adopt a resolution on a commission to investigate explosions at the joint venture

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also drew attention to recent data that during a survey by Nord Stream AG of one of the Nord Stream lines in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark, at a distance of 30 km from the explosion site, an “object” was found that could be an element of an explosive devices.

The Danish ambassador, who was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry last week, "at that time showed ignorance of this fact."

At the same time, today, during the meeting, the Danish ambassador said that all measures are being taken to study this situation, taking into account "aspects of security and the economy", in fact, limiting himself to general words, Zakharova said.

“The “find” discovered during the said survey once again emphasizes the urgent need for the Security Council to urgently adopt a resolution on the establishment by the UN Secretary General of an appropriate commission in order to shed light on all the circumstances of the sabotage so that this does not happen again in the future,” Zakharova said.

The report says that if Western countries refuse constructive work on the draft resolution, this will indicate the deliberate creation of obstacles in establishing the truth on the issue of terrorist attacks on the Nord Streams.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that it was obvious to Russia that the United States was responsible for undermining Nord Stream.

Explosions on three strings of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline systems occurred on September 26, 2022, near the Danish island of Bornholm.
