No decision about a new school in Sandhem at the meeting of school politicians in Mullsjö municipality

The indoor environment in Sandhem's school and preschool has been condemned by an external investigation and the school must therefore be demolished.

The proposal for the spring is that the school children in preschool to year 3 will be bussed to two schools in Mullsjö and carry out the teaching there.

For the children in the preschool, temporary modules are planned to replace the old building, which means that the preschool children can still remain in the area.

Long-term solution is urgent

There is a political decision to build a new preschool.

Regarding the construction of a new school, there is no such decision.

And there was no further news about it after today's meeting with the Children and Education Committee.

- The decision is urgent, but it takes time to get all the information required to make a decision, says Joseph Tornell (KD), chairman of the Mullsjö municipality's children and education board.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the municipality of Mullsjö will inform the guardians of the students about the details of how the spring semester will be resolved for the students.
