Former US spy Ritter: US wants to create a "second front" against Russia in Georgia

He expressed this opinion in an interview with the US Tour of Duty YouTube channel.

“The United States is using $40 million in aid annually through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to carry out what amounts to a “soft coup” in Georgia aimed at replacing the current government with one that is more American than American. Georgian goals and objectives, including the creation of a “second front” against Russia, ”says the ex-intelligence officer.

He called Georgia "a reduced version of Ukraine" for the United States, which is considered in Washington to be part of the "belt of instability", RIA Novosti quoted Ritter as saying.

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, said the day before that the ruling Georgian Dream party would not allow the opening of a “second front” for Ukraine in the country.
