A memorial museum in Suresnes

The Head of State then detailed the progress concerning the creation of a

memorial museum of terrorism

which will open in Suresnes, in the Paris suburbs, in 2027: "

It will be a place of analysis of the history of national terrorism and international, a place of awareness education geared towards younger generations.

Courtroom films, judicial seals, works of art will be gathered there to thwart everything that terrorism had wanted to foment

 ”.

Nelly Leclerc is still struggling to contain her grief, she lost her son Gilles, victim of the Bataclan attack, he was 32 years old.

Nelly will not yield any masterpiece to the museum, but an intimate object that connects her to her son:

“When he was little, he had a teddy bear and I still have it.

I think I'll put it in the museum, because it's something close to my heart”.

For this bereaved mother, this tribute to the victims is essential against oblivion because she explains that by losing her son, she lost everything.
