He spoke about this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"Today, our trade turnover, in my opinion, is not at the level that one should wish for - its increase would have a positive impact on both Russia and Sudan," the ambassador said.
Sirraji said Sudan could export cotton and gum arabic to Russia.
Sudan could also supply fruit to Russia, the ambassador added.
In addition, Sirraja said that the central banks of Sudan and Russia are discussing the use of national currencies in mutual settlements.
