Six people have been killed so far in Hamburg, northern Germany, after gunmen opened fire on people at a religious institution on Saturday, according to local media reports.

According to the authorities in Hamburg, northern Germany, at around 9:00 pm local time on the 9th and around 5:00 am Japan time on the 10th, someone shot people at the facility of a religious group.



The site is located near the airport in Hamburg.



Local police have confirmed multiple casualties.



In addition, multiple local media reported that a religious group was holding an event at the site at the time, and six people have died so far, and others have been injured.



There are also reports that the dead include the shooter.



Police say they don't know the motive for the incident and are continuing to investigate.
