“This (Friday) morning, following the demonstrations against the pension reform, there was a blockade of the Saint-Exupéry high school. There was Sébastien Delogu, who allegedly behaved violently against the CPE and the deputy headmaster, and these two staff have lodged a complaint," said the Aix-Marseille rectorate, confirming information from BFM Marseille.

According to an internal message from the school management consulted by AFP, the elected official kicked the ankles of the two officials as they moved a container that blocked the entrance to the establishment.

"Faced with the violent behavior of the police and the management of the establishment, in a movement of the crowd, I saw a high school student belted and violently put on the ground by a member of the management. I intervened, accompanied by comrades from the local CGT union, in order to protect the physical integrity of the high school students present, and to prevent any form of overbidding", for his part reacted in a press release Sébastien Delogu.

"I strongly deny all false accusations that may be made against me," he continued.

"I add, with the support of dozens of witnesses, that I myself was physically attacked by a member of management, I also reserve the right to take legal action."

Also evoking a "violent" intervention by the management of the establishment and the police during the blockage, the inter-union CGT-FO-Snes-Sud of the high school for its part also assured in a press release that the deputy, "who tried to intervene, (had) himself been physically attacked by a member of management".

"Blocking in progress at the Lycée Nord in Marseille to say no to the #ReformeDesRetraites! Faced with their demands, the principal is violent. I am there to support high school students and teachers", tweeted Sébastien Delogu in the morning .

"Support for the members of the educational team of the Saint Exupéry high school in Marseille attacked this morning by a deputy of the Republic", for his part reacted on Twitter the Minister of National Education Pap Ndiaye: "Two complaints have been filed. Our public responsibilities call us to set an example. The right to demonstrate ends where the violence begins."
