This happens rarely enough to be pointed out: the Biden administration, which specifically criticizes a host from the very conservative Fox News.

This Wednesday, March 9, the White House considered that the star host of the Tucker Carlson channel was “

not credible

”, and that his remarks on the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2020 were “

shameful

”.

Earlier this week, Tucker Carlson broadcast footage of the Capitol attack taken by surveillance cameras on his show.

A montage proving according to the host that the assault was in fact “

ordered and non-violent

”.

Virtually no one in Washington, Republican or Democrat, wanted to see this tape released tonight.

Capitol Police Chief Bryan Manger immediately reacted, speaking of "

hurtful and misleading findings

 ."

Critics also of Democratic deputies, but also of the leader of the Republicans in the Senate.

Until the White House, which rarely names the conservative media when it criticizes them, but which there made an exception.

His spokeswoman, Karine Jean-Pierre, explains: “

We agree with the Capitol police chief and the outrage of members of Congress on both sides.

You heard them yesterday condemning this misrepresentation of an attack of unprecedented violence directed against our Constitution and our rule of law, an attack which cost the lives of police officers.

We agree with Fox's lawyers and its executives, who themselves have repeatedly pointed out in court that Tucker Carlson is not credible on this subject.

To say what he said when we saw police officers losing their lives is simply shameful.

President Joe Biden himself reacted on Twitter: "

How can anyone dare minimize or deny the hell

" these police officers have been through?

On Monday, Tucker Carlson's show made the best score of the cable channels, with nearly 3.7 million viewers.

More than 140 officers were injured on Jan 6.

I've said before: How dare anyone diminish or deny the hell they went through?

I stand with the @CapitolPolice.

I hope House Republicans feel ashamed for what was done to undermine our law enforcement.
