At the central station and along the streets, many Westerners had gathered to celebrate the king.
- I took the day off today to be able to see the king, says Nur Sheikh from Western Austria.
At the concert hall, the royal couple got to see DraóThea's dance performance, among other things.
The king also gave a jubilee speech before they headed to the castle to eat the county lunch, which consisted of, among other things, a "poisonous" green pea soup.
The day ended at the Västmanland county museum, where the king got to see the exhibition "Anniversary exhibition Carl XVI Gustaf - 50 years for Sweden" which was about the king's different clothing styles over the years.
