The left party wants to see a similar agreement to the one concluded in France, where the government together with leading food chains decided on a price ceiling on certain food products.

- The starting point must be the basic goods that we need to survive.

Fruit vegetables, baby food, diapers.

Today, it is three large food oligarchs who control the prices in Sweden.

They have bloated profit margins, says Nooshi Dadgostar.

If the food chains fail to agree, legislation is needed, the party believes.

Nooshi Dadgostar believes that the market does not work as it should and that in practice Sweden does not have free pricing for food.

- Most families today feel that grocery stores just raise and raise prices.

It's on common products like coffee, fruit and bread and something has to be done.
