It was just after 19.30 that the police were called to Södra Vallgatan in Kävlinge because a man had been injured with stab and cut injuries.
- We are at the scene and collecting information right now, we will talk to some witnesses, but it is unclear how much they saw, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson at the police.
The crime scene is now cordoned off for a technical investigation and the police are knocking on doors.
The person was taken by ambulance to the hospital with unclear injuries.
The incident is classified as attempted murder.
