Henrik Elv is a vehicle driver at Motala municipality.

He is one of those who followed the weather forecast a little extra in the last 24 hours.

His job is to remove the snow and fight the slippery conditions in Motala.

Since the really large amounts of snow had not arrived in Motala, the afternoon's task was salting, a job that can be quite high-tech.

- We run four meters wide and ten grams per square meter, says Henrik.

"A little sport"

In the truck there is a panel where he can choose how much salt to spread, how the salt should be distributed over the width and whether one side should have more salt than the other.

Even though Henrik Elv may not long for snow, he still thinks that clearing snow is a little more fun than salting.

- Then you see that you are doing something.

It is a bit of a technique to try to get rid of the snow in the right way.

It's a bit of sport, says Henrik.
