Putin and Balitsky discussed the development of the Zaporozhye region, the functioning of the economy of business entities, as well as other issues of the socio-economic situation, RIA Novosti reports.
The issues of agricultural development and security were also touched upon.
The acting head of the region also raised the question of the status of the Sudoplatov Volunteer Battalion before Putin, Peskov added.
Earlier it was reported that Balitsky intends on March 7 to discuss with Putin the issue of the status of volunteer battalions.
