Relatives of the man who was shot to death in Tullinge last week have now reported to the police prosecutor Moa Blomqvist, who formally decided to publish the name and picture of the man's son.

Just hours after publication, his father was murdered.

The police report has been received by the special prosecutor's chamber, which conducts investigations when, among other things, police officers and prosecutors are suspected of crimes.

When a prosecutor is assigned to the case, he must decide whether a preliminary investigation should be initiated or not.

- Whether there is a connection between the shooting and our publication, we do not know at the moment, says Torbjörn Nilsson, police area manager Uppsala.

Stand behind

Today, he does not want to comment on whether the publication led to the receipt of crucial tips about the suspects who were wanted to be caught with the public's help.

He stands behind the decision to publish, which was made by his colleagues together with the prosecutor.

Is there any self-criticism on the part of the police regarding this publication?

- At the moment I do not have any criticism, but in that case I want to come back to it when we have looked more closely at the whole process, says Torbjörn Nilsson.

Prosecutor Moa Blomqvist does not want to appear for any interview, but writes in a text message to SVT "As I am now the subject of a police investigation, I will not comment on the matter but will let the investigation take its course".
