Marochko: Armed Forces of Ukraine throw forces to Artyomovsk in order to avoid complete encirclement of the city

This was announced by Lieutenant Colonel of the LPR, retired Andrey Marochko.

“There is a transfer of more or less combat-ready units to the west of the settlement, and the work of enemy artillery from the village of Chasov Yar has also intensified,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Marochko also noted that the Ukrainian military is strengthening its positions in the area of ​​the remaining supply roads.

Earlier, the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine created four groups around Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) in order to prevent Russian assault squads from blocking the city.

According to RT, the Armed Forces of Ukraine currently have practically no reserves that are not involved in hostilities, so there is no talk of bringing fresh forces to the Artyomovsk and Chasov Yar area by Kiev.
