It is noted that the protesters on Rustaveli Avenue in the Georgian capital used various items, including flammable agents, against the Interior Ministry employees.

According to the ministry, both protesters and law enforcement officers were injured during the rally.

Earlier, Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, who is visiting New York, supported the protesters in Tbilisi.

On March 7, the Georgian parliament passed the bill on agents of foreign influence in the first reading, after which protests began outside the parliament building in Tbilisi.
