Borrell: Georgia's law on foreign agents runs counter to country's EU aspirations

He also called for respect for the right of Georgian citizens to peaceful protest.

On March 7, the Georgian parliament passed the bill on agents of foreign influence in the first reading, after which protests began outside the parliament building in Tbilisi.
