It is noted that in 2019 there were 27% of women among the self-employed, in 2020 - 31%, in 2021 - 37%, in 2022 - 42%.

According to the study, women most often provide financial and accounting services (19%), rent apartments (16%), work in advertising, PR and marketing (14%).

Less often, they provide services in the field of IT (9%) and law (8%), according to a survey by Opora Rossii and the YAZANYAT platform for the self-employed.

In addition, as analysts have found out, women, registering as self-employed, more often combine this work with the main one.

According to experts, this is due to the fact that they are more careful when making financial decisions.

In addition, many apply for this status during maternity leave, explained Pavel Zyukov, founder of the self-employed platform.

At the same time, the average check for self-employed women is 10-15% lower than for men working in similar industries.

In total, 1,023 self-employed people from different regions of Russia took part in the survey.

Earlier, Pavel Zyukov, co-founder of the YAZANYAT platform for the self-employed, a member of the board of the Moscow branch of Opora Rossii, spoke in an interview with RT about the most profitable areas for the self-employed.
