Zelensky said he had a meeting with members of the ruling Social Democratic Party of Germany

The Ukrainian leader wrote about this in Telegram.

“Held a meeting with the leaders of the Social Democratic Party of Germany Lars Klingbeil and Rolf Mützenich,” he said.

Andrei Klimov, head of the Federation Council Commission for the Protection of Russia's State Sovereignty, suggested earlier that the US authorities during the visit of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to Washington could inform him about the new key role of Germany in the Ukrainian conflict.

According to Klimov, it is the people of Germany who are now asked to take on the main burdens of the "continuation of the Ukrainian mess."
