  Medog County is located at the southern foot of the Himalayas. It is a multi-ethnic settlement in Linzhi City, Tibet, where the Moinba and Lhoba are the main ethnic groups.

Since the Chinese People's Liberation Army stationed in Medog in 1962, it has developed a deep friendship with the residents there.

Set up service points learning from Lei Feng in rural areas to carry out various forms of voluntary service work, and this tradition continues to this day.

  According to Peng Bin, a director of the political work department of a frontier defense regiment in the Tibet Military Region, in 1992, the army set up this "Lei Feng Service Team" specifically to serve the local residents. Most of the team members are backbone experts of party members in different positions. Nodes, long-term climbing and wading deep into the villages where they are stationed, to provide services to the people with all their heart.

  Up to now, the "Lei Feng Service Team" has carried out more than 2,000 voluntary inspections, held more than 300 popular science lectures, shared and exchanged planting and breeding techniques more than 500 times, and helped many people get rich.
