According to Tom Lindgren, the businesses most affected by rats are the county's schools and preschools.

Many school buildings are older, which also plays a role, says Tom Lindgren.
Olofström least affected
But not all municipalities are badly affected by the gnawing pest.
The municipality of Olofström has fewer and fewer reports of rat problems.
- It's hard to say, but there are industries that make the sewage network not an attractive environment to live in, speculates Tom Lindgren.
Karlskrona municipality does not share the picture of an increasing invasion of rats in the buildings.
- We get error reports sent in about rats, but it's not like it's flooded.
We have problem areas where we have set traps and which we continuously follow up, says Ulf Johansson, street and park manager.
