According to Izvestia, this is stated in a letter sent to the Ministry of Construction of Russia.

Meanwhile, the REO noted that for some categories of residents of apartment buildings, such as pensioners, the option with a receipt on paper should be retained.

“So, for example, in Russia there are more than 50 million households, respectively, each of them receives paper payments.

It turns out that 50 tons of paper are spent on the monthly mailing, because one such document weighs 1 g,” the REO said.

Earlier, the 360 TV channel reported that the Russian environmental operator had prepared a letter to the Federal Tax Service with a request to work out the rejection of paper checks, since about 10,000 tons of non-recyclable paper are used annually in Russia.
