The President of the Government and Secretary General of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, has warmed up the week of 8-M leading an act under the motto "Feminism, emancipation and freedom" by the hand of former President José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.

An act in which he has announced that the next Council of Ministers will approve a law of equal representation in the public and private sphere but in which he has not made a single mention of the consequences of the law of only yes it is yes that it has already led to more than 700 sentence reductions for sexual offenders and 75 releases.

Sánchez explained that this regulation will guarantee the rack lists in the electoral law, parity in the Council of Ministers, in the boards of directors of companies, in the governing boards of professional associations and in the juries of public recognition.

The head of the Executive has emphasized that his Government works for the people, for the middle class, for the social and working majority.

In this context, he has urged employers to increase wages according to the CPI and has not hesitated to attack the neoliberal policies that the PP launched to face the financial crisis.

Sánchez has reviewed his social policies and has asked to have "a decade" to strengthen the welfare state and equality policies in favor of women.

Former President José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, who has spoken before Sánchez, has assured that Spain is a country that exports rights and has praised the ministers of the Government of Pedro Sánchez, stating that as such they are better than men.

Zapatero has praised the Executive ensuring that it is the most social of democracy and has insisted that its balance will be unbeatable.

He has highlighted the "leadership" of Sánchez who "never complains" and is "firm and demanding with the powerful."

He has also branded the opposition as "hypocritical" and "indecent" and has urged them to "ask for forgiveness" for filing appeals against socialist laws such as the voluntary termination of pregnancy.

The former president has taken it for granted that the PSOE, led by Sánchez, will win the next elections.
