  According to Taiwan media reports such as United News Network and Yahoo Kimo, Taiwan's 1111 Job Bank released a survey on "2023 Freshmen's Employment Intentions" on the 4th.

According to the survey, the slowdown in economic growth seems to have affected the confidence of freshmen in job hunting. After the survey, only 56% of the respondents chose to enter the workplace immediately after graduation, a drop of 12% from last year; 36% of the respondents indicated that they would stay in the island 8% plan to leave Taiwan to find another way.

  According to the survey, the industry freshmen most want to invest in this year is still "information technology industry", followed by "industrial and commercial services (financial industry)" and "educational groups".

  In addition, as many as 96.1% of the respondents believe that the aura of a famous school is obviously helpful for job hunting. The advantages include easy to see resume, more interview opportunities, high probability of admission, meeting the recruitment threshold of enterprises, and being easier to be recognized and trusted by supervisors; 23.8% % of respondents believe that prestigious schools have a salary advantage over private schools.

  The survey also shows that undergraduate graduates expect a salary of 33,308 yuan (NT$, the same below) for their first job, an increase of 2.58% compared to last year's 32,470 yuan; Compared with last year's 41,694 yuan, it also increased by 3.07%.

  According to reports, with the loosening of the ban on masks, many large-scale campus activities have resumed one after another.

On the 4th, Taiwan's iconic "2023 National Taiwan University Campus Talent Recruitment" was launched. 450 companies including TSMC, MediaTek, Shanghai Bank Group, and Cathay Financial Holdings participated in the event and set up booths to recruit talents.
