Zelensky and the head of Latvia signed a declaration on support for Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO

Zelensky wrote about this in Telegram.

“We signed a joint declaration with Egils Levits, confirming Latvia's support for the full-fledged European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine,” the Ukrainian leader said.

On February 28, Zelensky called for the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU this year.

On February 17, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced the need to offer Ukraine an accelerated path to join the European Union.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, spoke about the infinitely distant prospects for Ukraine's membership in the EU.
