Anesthetic ointments were commonplace for Michelle a few years ago.

It was a prerequisite for her to be able to have sex.

She is one of many young people who, in an interview with Uppdrag gränskning, said that she early on associated sex with being rough.

In social media, someone was missing who talked about having pain during sex, Michelle thought.

Hard sex

In a three-minute video on Tiktok, she shared the problems.

After the video was published, she logged out.

Several wrote about pain during sex

- When I went back in after a few hours, I saw that there were a lot of people who had already shared and commented and said that they appreciated me bringing it up.

The comment field was filled with people sharing similar experiences.

Michelle Desmond herself commented on the clip "Like if you experienced similar pain."

Over 2680 people have liked her comment.

"Deeper wounds in the soul"

Midwife Sofia Kopp has previously worked at the youth reception.

Today, she trains prospective midwives at the University of Borås.

She believes that the vast majority of young people are satisfied, happy and exploratory in their sexuality.

- But there are also those who are not.

It is clear that there can be injuries in the abdomen, but they heal.

What happens on the inside leaves much deeper wounds in the soul, she says.
