Earlier, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan in an interview with CNN threatened China with costs for helping Russia.

Sullivan also acknowledged that China has not yet made a final decision on providing Russia with military equipment and assets for use in Ukraine.

Reuters, citing US officials and other sources, reported that Washington is trying to find out whether their allies are ready to impose sanctions on China.
