She has led a research project on violence in young people's close relationships.
The study shows that almost every second girl, 44.4 percent, has been exposed to some form of sexual violence at some point in a relationship.
The young people in the study were between 15 and 19 years old.
- It can look a lot of different ways, but it often involves being pressured in one way or another to have to do things that you don't really want to, she says.
