This was stated by Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Celeste Wallander.

“As for the Abrams tanks, the army currently does not have tanks that could be transferred or sent to Ukraine,” TASS quoted her as saying.

Wallander noted that the funds previously allocated to the Pentagon to help Ukraine are "sufficient for current plans."

On February 3, the US Department of Defense announced the allocation of a new military aid package to Kyiv worth about $2.2 billion.

The aid package will include air defense systems, munitions for Javelin anti-tank missile systems, and "conventional and longer-range missiles" for HIMARS.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov warned that the Russian army would destroy any weapons supplied by Western countries to Ukraine.
