“Prospects for bilateral cooperation through the ministries of justice were considered, including the exchange of experience in the field of legal regulation of the activities of foreign non-profit organizations, interaction through special services, law enforcement agencies,” the Russian Security Council office said in a statement.
It is noted that special attention was paid to the issues of countering "color revolutions".
The parties also exchanged views on the situation in international relations.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced the possibility of a visit by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to Russia this year.
