“The issue of the early launch of an international investigation into the explosion of the Nord Stream gas pipeline on September 26, 2022 was discussed in detail,” the message on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry says.
The parties also discussed the initiative put forward by Beijing in the field of global security, "which was given a positive assessment by the Russian side."
Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines should be regarded as a terrorist act.
He stressed that this is the first time that such a large European critical infrastructure has been attacked.
It was also reported that Germany plans to use the pipes left after Nord Stream 2.
