I should be the first Taiwan compatriot to take the judicial examination in Chengdu, and I am also the first Taiwan compatriot lawyer they see in many courts.

I think it is more necessary to have a pioneering or pioneering spirit, because after all, the government has given us such a policy.

[Explanation] Recently, Shen Jie, a partner of Beijing Shuaihe Law Firm and a young Taiwanese lawyer, accepted an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Agency.

In 2002, Shen Jie, who graduated from elementary school, followed his father from Taiwan to his hometown of Chengdu, Sichuan Province to live. In 2008, he took part in the joint entrance examination for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students in mainland universities, and entered the China University of Political Science and Law to study law.

When I was a freshman, 2008 happened to be the Olympic Games. Everyone knew a song called "Beijing Welcomes You". In fact, many students were also "North Drifters". They also came from other places, so they said "Beijing Welcomes You", We were welcomed and we were all very touched.

[Explanation] After graduation, Shen Jie worked in a law firm in Beijing for several years, and went abroad for further studies. After returning to China, he founded a law firm in Beijing with several mainland lawyers in 2019, and became a risk-taking partner from a salaried lawyer .

Shen Jie said that the source of confidence to dare to challenge is to be optimistic about the market prospects in the mainland.

After all, Taiwan is now the so-called "many monks and few porridge", and the market is limited.

After all, there are still many second- and third-tier cities or lower cities in the mainland, and there is still a considerable demand for legal needs and lawyers.

Sometimes you say that the starting salary on both sides of the strait may still be higher in Taiwan, but if you look at the overall growth rate in three to five years, it may be much better in the mainland.

[Explanation] In his work and life, Shen Jie found that he could "confront Taiwan with Taiwan" and effectively help Taiwan compatriots. Therefore, with spare energy outside of work, he opened the "Taiwan Compatriots Legal Services Public Welfare Hotline" for "landing" study, Provide legal services to Taiwan compatriots who work and live.

I think it is also very necessary for us to understand the situation and explain it to him, or try our best to help them alleviate some doubts.

Because the mainland compatriots still care about us very much. When I was a student, I took the train to save money. If I couldn’t buy a ticket, I got a standing ticket. Lie down for us.

It's the little details, and it's a form of love.

There may have been more Taiwanese businessmen in the past, but now they may be more workers, whether they are executives or Taiwanese graduates.

So a few years ago, we began to discuss the payment of five social insurances and one housing fund, and the issue of taxation.

I think the Taiwan compatriots who are working here now should have personal income tax apps in their mobile phones. I think it is the same as compatriots in the mainland. Everyone will pay attention to whether I can get a tax refund this year, or if I want How much tax to pay, everyone will take the initiative to declare during the annual declaration period.

[Commentary] In these years, Shen Jie has also been very enthusiastic about cross-strait exchange activities, and he is interested in supporting newcomers in Taiwan's law studies who come to the mainland to develop.

I think it depends on the opportunity of each person, because the first one must have a cost, whether it is time cost or the cost of the whole change, of course, if you can bear these costs or are willing, I believe that the mainland will have development prospect.
