Ebba Östlin (S) was the most responsible politician in Botkyrka municipality for several years, until she was recently voted out by her own party colleagues.
A very infected battle took place, where one side claimed that it was about her leadership style, while others called it a coup, that it was about the municipality closing down several leisure parks and that criminals were involved.
The incident was investigated by the Social Democrats in the Stockholm district, but no evidence of wrongdoing was found.
Ebba Östlin resigned earlier in February but may be elected group leader again in March.
Then Botkyrka's social democrats have their annual meeting and several have nominated Östlin.
