The Iranians in this case were members of OSI, independent Swedish-Iranians and IDR, Iranian Demonstrators' Voice.
They held a parallel demonstration a few hundred meters away at Götaplatsen.
- We want to show our support to the Ukrainian people and we have a common enemy and that is the Revolutionary Guard of the Islamic Republic and that they support Russia's abuses against Ukrainians, says Pone Shams from OSI, Independent Swedish-Iranian.
"Support is too slow"
According to Oksana Henriksson, the demonstration is another attempt to try to get outsiders to understand how difficult it is in Ukraine today.
She welcomes the West's military support but thinks it is going too slowly.
- Today my mother called me and said that my neighbor had been shot.
The faster it goes with support, with weapons, the fewer Ukrainian men we lose, she says.
- It is important to show solidarity, we are nothing without each other, says Pone Shams.
