During the final part of Melodifestivalen, Loreen's performance had to be interrupted after a person stormed the stage with a placard.

The camera then switched to presenter Farah Abadi who exclaimed that they "had a visitor on stage".

- Loreen's performance was disrupted and the TV viewers did not get to experience it as it was intended.

We therefore decided that she would be allowed to perform it in its entirety again, says Melodifestivalen's project manager Anders Wistbacka.

In one picture, the activist group Restore Våtmarker's slogan can be seen on the placard that was carried up on stage.

The group has previously made similar intrusions on the stage at Allsång at Skansen.

Last summer, they blocked traffic on Essingeleden in Stockholm, which led to an ambulance not arriving.

Twelve people were later convicted of sabotage and disobedience to law enforcement.

Loreen's next performance could be completed without interruption and she went on to the final as the first number.
