Zakharova stressed that this means stopping the sending of military equipment and mercenaries from the West, as well as the end of hostilities and the return of Ukraine to a neutral non-bloc status.

In addition, Ukraine must recognize the new territorial realities and eliminate all threats emanating from its territory.

Earlier, China presented its position on the political settlement of the crisis in Ukraine.

The plan, published on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, consists of 12 points.

It calls for the start of peace talks and a ceasefire.

Also, the Chinese side opposes unilateral sanctions, which only create new problems.

Along with this, the UN General Assembly adopted an anti-Russian resolution on the "principles of a just peace" in Ukraine.

According to the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzi, the document is one-sided and out of touch with reality.
