In addition, the revised bill will extend the period of "protection order" from the current "6 months" to "1 year", and the penalties for violating the order will be "imprisonment with work for up to 1 year or 1 million yen or less. to "imprisonment with work for up to 2 years or a fine of up to 2 million yen".



Furthermore, as one of the 'protection orders', we have added a new prohibition against calling the victim's child.
